Although not officially incorporated, Seven Lakes is an active, rapidly-growing area located 8 miles west-northwest of Pinehurst on NC Highway 211 West.  As can be guessed by its name, Seven Lakes is clustered around 7 main lakes.  It is composed of 3 private, gated communities:  Seven Lakes North, Seven Lakes South, and Seven Lakes West (also known as Beacon Ridge).  The post office address for these communities is West End. 

Residents in Seven Lakes enjoy private amenities including water activities on the lakes; a marina at Lake Sequoia; 2 country clubs (Seven Lakes Country Club and Beacon Ridge Country Club), each with a golf course; riding stables; tennis courts; and an olympic-sized pool and fitness center, among others. 

Outside of the 3 gated communities, Seven Lakes is served by a small commerce center that includes a major grocery store, healthcare services, restaurants and other professional, retail and commercial businesses. 

Seven Lakes is an excellent choice for people wanting the private, close-knit quality of a self-contained community.
