Workforce


Moore County has a workforce of over 35,000 strong. Within just a 25-mile radius of Southern Pines, this number increases to 152,222. 

Due to Moore County’s adjacent proximity to Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, and Camp Mackall, our workforce is enhanced by retired military personnel who offer unique skills, valuable experience and diverse backgrounds. Our workforce is further strengthened by the civilian spouses of our military residents.
