Moore County is one of 13 counties in the Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP), along with Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake and Warren counties. RTRP is one of 7 public/private economic development partnerships covering all 100 counties in North Carolina.

RTRP works collaboratively with the N.C. Department of Commerce to market the 13-county Research Triangle Region of North Carolina for the economic benefit of its communities. It promotes the region worldwide and works to attract investment from successful businesses that can well serve the region and its mix of rural and urban areas.
Partners in Progress Executive Director Ray Ogden and Board Chairman Fred Hobbs serve as Moore County's representatives on RTRP's Board of Directors.
