Private schools in Moore County offer an excellent alternative to public education. All strive to maintain low student-teacher ratios.


Calvary Christian School is a member of both the American Association of Christian Schools and the Association of Christian Schools International.  It offers a religious-based education to students from preschool to twelfth grade.

Sandhills Classical Christian School is a non-denominational school affiliated with the Association of Classical Christian Schools, and currently offers preschool through 9th grade.  The school's focus is on Classical methodology, using a curriculum model known as the Trivium based on grammar, logic and rhetoric.
