Joblink Career Centers


North Carolina JobLink Career Centers are a service of the North Carolina Department of Commerce and are a resource for both employers and workers.  Its mission is "to improve North Carolina’s workforce and strengthen our state’s economy by developing a system of JobLink Career Centers that offers labor market information, provides access to career training and job placement services, and serves as the connection between employers and qualified workers." 


Services available to employers in each JobLink Career Center include:

  • Workforce recruitment and placement assistance;

  • Single point for filing and filling job needs;

  • Rapid response assistance for plant closings and mass layoffs;

  • Customized worker testing and training;

  • Tax credit and hiring incentive information;

  • Labor market and active job seekers information;

  • Other services as needed by the local business community.

MOORE COUNTY JOBLINK CAREER CENTER
The JobLink Career Center in Moore County operates in conjunction with the local Employment Security Commission office.  It is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and is the "one stop link for all Moore County employers seeking business and industry planning, training, and job placement services."
