Charter Schools

 

Tuition-free charter schools offer parents a choice in public education.  Each charter school is independent, funded by public dollars on a per-pupil basis, and has a charter specifying the guiding principles, governance structure and accountability measures for the school.  Moore County has 2 charter schools.
